《 INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS 》

After installation, let the water keep flowing for about 15 minutes or at least 25 Lt. to remove the remaining carbon powder and filter’s glue. If the water still tastes bitter then leave it flowing until it turns to be sweet taste.

Too low water pressure makes the water flow little. Suggesting the flowing speed to be over 1.6 LPM (1.6Lt. per min.) Please refer to the figure in the flowmeter on the top of the machine.

Remember to put the batteries into the flowmeter box and the far infrared sensor box. The specifications are as below:
a. Flowmeter -- 2pcs of AAA battery
b. Far infrared -- 4pcs of AA battery

If out of home or long term not using filter, suggesting to switch the far infrared sensor box off to save the energy and water consumption.

|
|

At the bottom of the far infrared sensor box attached with the velcro, stick the velcro in place and just take off the battery box when it comes to change the battery and put it back after done.

The instruction for use is inside of the case. The directive to change the cartridges as follows (Based on using tap water):
Cartridge (1): 1000 Lt./ 250Gal (Abt. 6mon.)
Cartridge (2): 1000 Lt./ 250Gal (Abt. 6mon.)
Cartridge (3): 2000 Lt./ 500Gal (Abt. 1yrs.)
Cartridge (4): 1000 Lt./ 250Gal (Abt. 6mon.)
Cartridge (5): 4000 Lt./ 1000Gal (Abt. 2yrs.)
Cartridge (6): 2000 Lt./ 500Gal (Abt. 1yr.)
* The intervals to change the cartridge differ with the water quality in each area, which you may adjust
according to the local water quality.
* If the local water pressure is not enough, the cartridge (5) hollow fiber membrane filter easily accumulate air and result in little water. Call Hiend service immediately for such situation.

When open or close the front/back panels of the case, please do powerfully and push down heavily from the both ends of the front panel of the case. Due to tightness of the latch, it’s normal the sound is very loud when closing or opening the front/back panels.

On changing the cartridge, please hold the cartridge turning clockwise to take off. On installing the cartridge, please let the label side towards left and push upward to the filter head, then hold the cartridge turning counter-clockwise to tighten it. The cartridge’s label should face to outside and the no. same as that on the small sticker of the cartridge head.
Attentions : 1. Before changing the cartridge, remember to close the water supply
2. The bigger air-leaking sound is normal when changing cartridge because of the hydrogen air pressure.

To ensure the proper use, we suggest the filter to be installed by Hiend technician or the technician approved by the agents.

Due to the water quality or less use, we suggest to change the cartridge of later stage when the peculiar happening. |
